This was a large scale project co-organized by the Neighborhood Advice Action Council, St John Ambulance, Hong Kong Red Cross and Heung To Middle School, just celebrating their 70th anniversary is providing us with the venue. St John Ambulance was invited to provide free dental services. The Rotaractors and Interactors were invited to participate this event. We invited 140 elderly to participate. There were health talks by medical professionals in 6 specialties (Chiropractic, Dentistry, Eye, Uorlogy, Pedorthist, Orthopedics) and general health checks (e.g. blood pressure, blood glucose level). The elders could also choose the medical specialties for further consultation with medical professionals on the spot. Our club allocated funding HKD$10000 to this project. The other expenses, approximately USD 1250 was covered by the district grant.
