It was the third year that we organized the same project jointly with Women’s welfare Club ( Eastern District ).
On 19 September morning , the volunteers from both Clubs gathered in the kitchen of Women’s welfare Club and all of us were busy in making our mini moon cake, but they all were filled with laughter and fun. After lunch , we started to visit the singleton elders in the Eastern District. We brought to the elders our moon cake gift pack and spent some time to care and chit chat with them.
The whole day activities ended before 4:00 p.m. The project has successfully achieved the objectives to show our care and love to the elders . Importantly to enhance the friendship with our members and encourage participation of Rotary family. We will continue to organize this project every year.
