" Service above Self": we put this Rotary Motto into practice again on 13.9.2014 (after the successful moon cake for the elderly event on 30.8.2014) ! The visit helped us to have a “do good, feel good” sentiment about community service.
The visit enabled us to show our care and encouragement to some 200 disabled persons living in Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council's Harmony Manor, in A Kung Kok Shan Road, Sha Tin. The Manor has modern facilities for its 200 residents. Renovation of this institution was done with the great help of our PP Edward Leung.
The visit started from 10:00 am and finished by 1:30 pm on 13 September 2014 (Saturday) with a nice tea reception with wonderful snacks provided by the Manor’s staff.
